There are many attractions near Tingsaker Camping

KRISTIANSAND ZOO AND AMUSEMENT PARK

One of Norway's biggest attractions is just a quarter of an hour's drive from the campsite.

The animal park is Norway's largest family attraction, with over 100 different animal species from all over the world. You can get up close to the animals, participate in daily animal presentations and learn about the animals' characteristics. In addition, you can visit Cardamom town, Captain Sabertooth's World and Badelandet, which has various activities and shows for the whole family.

 

You can buy entrance tickets online and save NOK 50 per ticket.

The zoo is located 21 kilometers west of Tingsaker Familiecamping. Check the route planner to find the way to Dyreparken.

LILLESAND CITY AND MARITIME MUSEUM

Lillesand City and Maritime Museum is a cultural history museum that shows life in the old maritime town of Lillesand. The museum consists of several buildings, including a merchant's farm from 1827 with a burgher's home from the end of the 19th century, a customs museum in a customs booth from 1730, and various workshops and residences in the backyard. The museum also has changing exhibitions on various themes related to the city's history and culture. The museum is owned and operated by Lillesand municipality.

LILLESANDSDA'ENE

Lillesandsda'ene is a summer festival that is held every year in Lillesand. The festival has a varied program of concerts, exhibitions, activities and entertainment for all ages. The festival for 2023 is scheduled from 24 June to 2 July. Some of the artists who will perform are Return, Vassendgutane, Bjørn Tomren and KorDania.

THE BRONZE PLACE

Discover The bronze place in Lillesand, a unique cultural and historical site that gives an insight into life during the Bronze Age.

M/B THE ISLAND THROUGH BLINDLEIA

The sightseeing boat M/B Øya, which runs between Lillesand and Kristiansand, is one of the few surviving scheduled boats that still runs a fixed route in the summer.
